About Me
Hi, my name is Miriam, and I work at the intersection of computer science, product, and AI. I studied Computer Science at Tufts University in Boston, and through software engineering internships and hands-on projects, I realized that what interested me most wasn’t just building systems, but understanding how people interact with them. I found myself drawn to user conversations, ambiguous problem spaces, and the challenge of translating technical complexity into something clear and usable. That shift led me toward product work. I returned to Tufts to pursue a Master’s in Innovation and Management and later a Master’s in Computer Science, where I’ve been focusing on AI and on how intelligent systems can become products people trust and use in real contexts.
Outside of work, I balance analytical thinking with hands-on, creative interests. Since 2022, I’ve worked in floral design as both a florist and marketing specialist, which has become a creative outlet centered on color, texture, scent, and detail, and on how small elements come together to create a feeling. Traveling is one of my biggest hobbies and a natural extension of that curiosity. Whether exploring historic cities, skiing, scuba diving, or visiting family, I’m drawn to new environments and the human moments within them. That same sense of care extends to animals. I volunteer with animal rescues and shelters and recently adopted an eight-year-old former outdoor stray cat named Somer, whose adjustment to home life has been one of the quiet highlights of my days.
Below is a small gallery of recent moments and experiences. Enjoy.
